Seminars
The Department of Bioengineering has an active seminar program, which features outstanding speakers from other institutions and from the UCSD campus. The seminars are very well attended and serve to stimulate collaborations among scientists and interactions between the University and industry. Regular workshops on various research topics are organized by the Whitaker Institute of Biomedical Engineering.

The weekly seminars are held throughout the academic year on Fridays from 2:30-3:50 p.m. in Warren Lecture Hall, Room 2111, and they are an integral part of academic life in our department. The schedule of speakers is posted at the beginning of every quarter. Be sure to sign up for the BE281 seminars every quarter, and plan on attending every Friday afternoon.
